Is there anything printed on the back of these coasters?

At this time, there isn’t anything on the back of these coasters. The company that prints them doesn’t offer 2-sided printing and stickers are too costly.

Survey Tips to help you get your Rewards:

*** Please be sure to fill-out your ship-to address when you answer your survey after the Kickstarter is over. Kickstarter does NOT give me your address, even if you have filled it out on their website.

I have noticed backers forget to put in a mailbox number when they are in an apartment or condo, but the mailbox is curbside. The Post Office will send it back to me as Undeliverable.***

How are these drink coasters being shipped?

The drink coasters are being shipped by the USPS (United States Postal Service) both for domestic and world-wide rewards.

The US-Only envelope choice orders are being mailed in #10 size security-tinted envelopes. Each envelope can hold up to four or five (4 - 5) coasters.

International rewards consist of no less than 12 coasters per order, and will only be mailed in a box, a padded large envelope, or a box-in-a-bag.

I may have to increase the minimum international order in the future, due to high ETSY fees I have to pay.

Currently, the $1 Kickstarter reward level for UK backers, plus a $2 handling charge on ESTY at checkout (they add this to the shipping charges), will come close to covering my loss due to their various fees imposed on me as the Seller.

Some international rewards may have to be processed through Etsy, (such as for the UK backers, due to the UK requirement that VAT be collected BEFORE the items are shipped to the backer.)

As a side note, ETSY is an online marketplace and they collect the funds for the ENTIRE sales transaction, meaning the cost of the item(s) sold, including VAT or any other taxes, plus shipping if it is charged by the seller.

ETSY, in-turn charges the Seller (Me), fees for their service of hosting the shop, listing the items for sale, and processing the monetary transaction.

What if some of my coasters arrived damaged or never delivered at all?

If your coasters are damaged in the mail or never arrive, please just contact me through Kickstarter’s PrivateMessage System (NOT the Comments Section), as I may not see it, and I will discuss it through Kickstarter private message system or through email.

If you purchased a box of coasters, but did not purchase shipping insurance, I cannot afford to cover a free re-shipment. Please consider shipping insurance which will be a small cost. I will add it as a choice in BackerKit to boxed pre-orders and the Pre-Order Store so you can choose if you wish to add it at check-out. * For damaged claims, I will need to have 3 things: 1) Photos of the entire damage item(s), 2)outside of the external packaging and, 3)photos of the inside of the box/envelope with any packaging materials used.

I only pass the shipping insurance fee’s actual cost on to you.

How long does it take to get my order after it is shipped?

  • Please Note: YOUR ENVELOPES (US Only), MAY ALL ARRIVE ON DIFFERENT DAYS EVEN THOUGH I HAVE SHIPPED THEM TOGETHER!

Due to all post offices, and each country’s pandemic restrictions, International Reward(s) may take from one week up to several weeks or more to arrive. The shipper asks that International recipients wait at least 30 days for their package to be delivered. They state; “If there still has been no Tracking updates after that time, and the package still has not been delivered, then you can submit a missing mail search request with USPS or call them directly at 1-800-ASK_USPS.” Which I can do.

Still waiting for your reward?

First, Please check to see if someone in your household has already taken in your mail, and forgotten to tell you. This has happened often enough that I’m noting it here. Backers have also found their envelope(s) or box in a drawer or cabinet, etc.

What if I am an International backer, and my Rewards have not arrived after a couple weeks?

As far as your coasters not being delivered in a timely manner, I just ask that International backers please be patient, as it may sometimes take 2 to 8 weeks (or more to Asia, and Australia), to get your package. I will be asking you to please give it that much time, as almost all the coasters get there every single time.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
